In PM training, this quote lands because AI doesn't remove the need for problem definition; it punishes skipping it. When a project team throws AI at a messy brief, the tool usually gives the wrong thing more polish. That's not intelligence solving the problem, it's confusion getting better production values.

There are prompts, skills, and agents that can help.

But the best involve a voyage of co-discovery and collaborative waves of divergence (brainstorming) and convergence (focus) with AI, never abdicating critical thinking and discernment to the LLM.
